A REVIEW OF THREE YEARS OF PSYCHOLOGICAL CONSULTING WITH THE JUVENILE COURT OF COBB COUNTY, GEORGIA.
Abstract
THE AUTHORS FELT THAT THEY MADE THEIR GREATEST CONTRIBUTION IN INCREASING COURT WORKERS MATURITY AND JUDGMENT WHILE REDUCING THEIR FRUSTRATION, DEPRESSION, AND ANXIETIES, AND IN PROVIDING IN-SERVICE TRAINING OF SPECIFIC SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE. MOST OF THEIR TIME, HOWEVER, WAS SPENT IN ASSESSMENT OR DECIDING THE ISSUE OF DELINQUENCY AND IN AN ADVISORY CAPACITY AS TO THE DISPOSITION OF CHILDREN AND IN THE ACTIVE TREATMENT OF JUVENILES AND THEIR FAMILIES VIA GROUP THERAPY, INDIVIDUAL THERAPY, AND CRISIS INTERVENTION WORK.
