Mergers and acquisition of work organizations are among the reasons for the growing inequality of the Yugoslav market and the creation of monopolistic situations that are a violation of the extensive economic legislation in the country.
Abstract
The reasons for sanctioning criminal offenses in this area may be economic and are manifested in several ways: by the vague methodology of legislatively defining such notions as 'equality of markets' and 'monopoly;' by economic practice as exercised in the 1960's; and by abandoning systematic collection and analysis of data on work organizations and composite organizations of associated labor at the Yugoslav level, all of which was due to modified legislation in the field of organizational units. On the other hand, there is a structural and bureaucratic deviancy, also related to the merger and acquisition processes and white collar crime, wherein the State and its inspection services do not possess enough knowledge, power, and desire to be confronted with this kind of deviance. 19 references.(Author abstract modified)
