This paper contends that business mergers and acquisitions are contributing factors to the growing inequality of the Yugoslav market and monopolistic situation.
Abstract
Reasons for sanctioning criminal offenses in this field may be economic and are manifested in several ways. They include the vague method of defining such notions as equality of market and monopoly in legislation and economic practices exercised in the 1960s. In addition, collection of data on mergers of work organizations and related areas was abandoned due to modified legislation in the field of organizational units. On the other hand, a structural and business deviancy exists which is related to the merger and acquisition process and white collar crime. The state or its inspection services do not possess enough knowledge, power, and desire to be confronted with this kind of deviancy. 19 footnotes. (Author abstract modified)
