Abstract
DENVER, ONE OF THE SIXTY CITIES FUNDED FOR PLANNING AND ORGANIZATIONAL PURPOSES UNDER THE MODEL CITIES PROGRAM, ESTABLISHED METROPOLITAN STATE COLLEGE TO COORDINATE ALL CURRENT PROGRAM AREAS CONNECTED WITH EDUCATION. THE LAW AND POLICE SCIENCE PROGRAM WAS INAUGURATED IN 1966, AND WILL BE COUNTED UPON FOR MAJOR CONTRIBUTIONS IN THE COMMUNITY ACTION AREAS OF JUVENILE DELINQUENCY CONTROL, CRIME PREVENTION, ETHNIC MINORITY COMMUNITY RELATIONS, EDUCATION AND TRAINING OF DENVER POLICE DEPARTMENT AND DENVER COUNTY SHERIFF'S PERSONNEL, AND NARCOTICS EDUCATION AND CONTROL. CURRICULUM AND STUDENT PROFILES OF THE CURRENT CLASS ARE INCLUDED.
