This report describes the training activities of the Michigan council, as well as its employment standards work during 1980-81.
Abstract
The council's Operations Section consists of mandatory basic training, career training, preservice, and technical service units, and its Employment Standards Section develops and publishes standards for the selection and training of State law enforcement officers, among other activities. The report mentions workshops and meetings held and budgetary information. Data tables present the number of training sessions held during the year, the number of recruits trained at the academy, the number of graduates of various training programs, the number of career development certificates issued, and other training information. Appendixes include employment standards, enrollment criteria, and the act creating the council.
