Abstract
This annual report details the operations of the Missouri judicial system for fiscal year 2001. Tables of statistical information are offered for the Supreme Court, the Court of Appeals, the Circuit Court, and the Fine Collection Center of Missouri. Information is provided for the number of appeals filed and disposed for the Supreme Court of Missouri as well as the number of death penalty and revenue appeals filed between fiscal years 1994 and 2001. The section on the Court of Appeals offers information concerning the number of appeals, writs, and motions filed between fiscal years 1987 and 2001. Further breakdowns are offered on the number of writs filed by type of writ and the number of appeals disposed by manner of disposition. The section reporting on the Circuit Court provides a statewide summary, a circuit profile, time standards, and a section on other analyses. The Fine Collection Center section reports on the numbers of traffic cases filed and disposed by the manner of disposition. Appendices
