Administrative procedures for the emergency plan address organization for implementing the emergency plan, the functions and duties of emergency personnel, damage control, and after-hours and holiday emergency procedures. The remaining sections of the manual cover procedures for specific types of emergency situations. They include fire, bomb threat and search, explosions, medical and first aid emergencies, enemy attack, earthquake, flooding, demonstrations, and evacuation. The forms provided are the emergency notification roster, the floor roster, and floor maps. Overall, the emergency plan is intended to ensure a continuing preparedness for the protection of the employees of all State facilities in emergency situations. It is designed to protect lives and property, preserve the organizational structure, and ensure the continuity or early resumption of essential services.
