Abstract

THE FOLLOWING SUBJECTS ARE COVERED: TYPES OF EXPLOSIONS AND THEIR EFFECTS, INCLUDING CHEMICAL, MECHANICAL AND ATOMIC, HOW TO COPE WITH THEM, AND THE TWO PHASES OF ALL EXPLOSIONS; BEHAVIOR OF EXPLOSIVES DURING DETONATION AND VARIOUS DETONATING TRAINS; VARIOUS MILITARY AND COMMERCIAL EXPLOSIVES; SYSTEMS FOR PRIMING AND FIRING EXPLOSIVES; FIRING TECHNIQUES USED IN BOMBS; AND THE SIX CRITICAL DECISION POINTS OF BOMB INCIDENTS, NEEDED SKILLS, AND BOMB INCIDENT POLICY.
