Abstract
THE PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED MOST FREQUENTLY WERE CAR-TO-CAR COVERAGE AND INTERFERENCE. SUGGESTED SYSTEM CHANGES, INCLUDING THE SWITCHING FROM VHF (VERY HIGH FREQUENCY) TO UHF (ULTRA HIGH FREQUENCY) BANDS FOR POLICE TRANSMISSIONS.
