Abstract
Tables reporting crimes known to the police for the month of December list offenses by Province, by groups of municipalities, by nature of the offense, and according to the reporting police authority (i.e., State and municipal police and the Royal Marechaussee). Nonindictable offenses for which prosecution was evaded are also reported. The judicial statistics are shown for ordinary and military courts and in resumptive tables comparing data from 1979. Data on adoptions indicate treatment of the first instance in district courts and treatment in appeal. The report includes data on bankruptcies for February 1981 and on fires for December 1980 and the entire year. The report consists entirely of tabular material.
