Dutch statistics on offenses, applications of the law against economic offenses, bankruptcies, and fires for early 1980 are reported.
Abstract
Statistical tables shows the offenses reported to the police in March 1980 by province, groups of communities, and kind of offenses, as well as offenses reported to the Royal Constabulary by the type of offense. Minor offenses for which reports were filed by the police or the Royal Constabulary or fines paid to avoid further prosecution are listed by the type of offense. Figures on the individuals taken into custody in the first quarter of 1980 are cited by district. A further set of tables contains figures on the investigation of applications of the law governing economic offenses, and treatment of offenses in the high court, the appeals court, and the district court. A list of economic offenses is included. Fire statistics for March and the first quarter of 1980 indicates fires by province, community, and type of fire, as well as accidents during fires, fires by kind, location, damage and insurance, and fires by object and cause. A graph traces the monthly course of bankruptcies from 1976 to May 1980.
