Abstract
Five categories of recommendations are offered for addressing polyvictimization and its elderly victims in the areas of practice, policy, and research. The categories are 1) definitions and frameworks, 2) practice, 3) training and education, 4) research and evidence-based interventions, and 5) prevention. The article focuses on changes needed to improve the identification of cases of victimization of the elderly, the development of policies and practices for addressing these cases, and research priorities.
