Abstract
VARIOUS FACTORS WHICH MUST BE CONSIDERED WHEN FORMULATING A MASTER DISASTER PLAN ARE LISTED. APPENDED MATERIAL INCLUDES GUIDELINES FOR PREPARING A MAIN EMERGENCY PLAN COVERING SUCH DETAILS AS PRELIMINARY ALERT, FIRST AID, ESTABLISHMENT OF A COMMAND POST, SECURING THE AREA, DISSEMINATION OF INFORMATION, AND RECOVERY OPERATIONS. A REPORT ON A LARGE AIRCRAFT ACCIDENT NEAR ONTARIO IS PRESENTED, DETAILING THE EMERGENCY PROCEDURES UTILIZED. INFORMATION ON IDENTIFYING DISASTER VICTIMS, INCLUDING A DISASTER VICTIM IDENTIFICATION FORM, IS PROVIDED.
