Abstract
Highlights for the year included major progress in developing the Automated Juvenile Law Archive, technical assistance to juvenile courts, and sponsorship of a workshop on statewide juvenile justice reporting and management information systems. A major research project found that the younger a child is when referred to court, the greater the probability of a return to court.
