Abstract
The 1987-1988 and 1988-1989 reports of the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children describe accomplishments of the organization and contain funding data. A report on parental kidnapping details how to prevent abduction and what to do in the case of child molestation. A list of selected State legislation dealing with missing and exploited children is presented to identify effective State laws to protect children. Sixteen brochures cover such topics as babysitter selection, day care, child custody, family separation, runaways, child victims of sexual abuse, missing children, children who have to testify in court, dealing with grief after the loss of a child, child protection priorities in State laws, and the abduction of infants from hospitals.
