Abstract
PART I OF THE REPORT INCLUDES A REVIEW OF EACH RECOMMENDATION MADE BY THE ORGANIZED CRIME TASK FORCE AND THE ACTION TAKEN TO IMPLEMENT THEM. WHERE APPROPRIATE THE REPORT REFLECTS THE RESULTS OBTAINED REGARDING THOSE RECOMMENDATIONS THAT HAVE BEEN IMPLEMENTED. PART II OF THE REPORT CONTAINS SPECIFIC EXAMPLES OF SUCCESSFUL EFFORTS TO IMPROVE INTER-RELATIONSHIPS AMONG FEDERAL, STATE AND LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT ORGANIZATIONS ACHIEVED AS A DIRECT RESULT OF THE CONFERENCE, A SUMMARY OF THE PRINCIPAL RECOMMENDATIONS MADE BY CONFERENCE PARTICIPANTS DURING THE WORKSHOP SESSIONS, RELATING TO ORGANIZED CRIME CONTROL PROGRAMS, AND A SUMMARY OF RECOMMENDATIONS RELATING TO THE NEED FOR AND FORMAT OF FUTURE CONFERENCES.
