This volume presents background information, scheduling and faculty information, outlines of presentations, and other materials used at the National Conference on the Prosecution of Environmental Crime, held in April 1993 and sponsored by several national associations of prosecutors.
Abstract
Participants were eligible for continuing legal education credit. Faculty members included prosecuting attorneys, government officials, and an attorney in private practice. The course sessions focused on environmental laws and their enforcement, the use of traditional investigative techniques in environmental crime cases, issues related to trials for environmental crimes, communications through the media, environmental defense issues, and trends in the enforcement of environmental laws.
