Abstract
The goal of the National Criminal Justice Data Archive is to stimulate and support the use of quantitative materials in the study of crime and the criminal justice system and thereby raise the level of the quality of research and planning. In the current project period (July 15, 1980, to September 30, 1981), 19 additional datasets were processed, and 17 more datasets were acquired and are awaiting processing or have processing underway. Some of the more important studies added to the holdings in the last year include National Crime Survey data for the collection quarters through the end of 1979; the Census of State Correctional Facilities, 1979; the Survey of Inmates of State Correctional Facilities, 1979; and the Juvenile Detention and Correctional Facility Censuses of 1977 and 1979.
