Abstract
In this 18th edition of the National Directory of Children, Youth and Families Services, the goal remains the same: to provide both professionals in the field of children, youth, and families and for non-professionals seeking help with accurate and up-to-date information with agency phone numbers and services in many locations from across the country. The directory is divided into three main parts. The first part is a guide to State, county, and major city agencies and service. Each State begins with State-level information and is than divided by the State’s counties or major cities with information on that state’s social services, health services, juvenile justice agencies, education services, and special services agencies function throughout that State. Part two provides a who’s who in Federal children, youth and families services and begins with the Executive Branch, Senate committees, House committees which provide programs responsible for policies which serve children, youth, and their families. The programs presented include: national resource centers and clearinghouses, national organizations serving children, youth ,and families, runaway youth centers, armed services, the YMCA of the United States, and grants. Lastly, the third part provides an easy to use guide to specialized services and products for professionals and families.
