Abstract
The report describes 16 counterdrug support missions of the National Guard. Observations and lessons learned are detailed in order to provide a basis for improving the quality of the National Guard's counterdrug support to law enforcement. The information is intended to help National Guard units share successful techniques, tactics, and procedures and to identify mistakes to be avoided. Appendixes contain a working aid developed to help law enforcement agencies identify and assess critical information aspects of counterdrug operations during the planning stage and a Military Counterdrug Support Operations Security (OPSEC) Guide.
