Abstract
Articles cover topics, such as the social science of language acquisition and impairment and its importance in the juvenile and criminal justice systems; the challenges of lawyering in juvenile court through an exploration of the competing interests and cultures of criminal defense, juvenile court, and the family; and the juvenile court culture and challenges for positive changes to the current system and culture.
