Abstract
THIS VOLUME WAS WRITTEN TO HELP APPLY NEW CAREERS TRAINING CONCEPTS IN REHABILITATION, TO GIVE ADMINISTRATORS, PROGRAM PLANNERS, TRAINING PERSONNEL AND PARAPROFESSIONALS IN HUMAN SERVICES AGENCIES AN ORIENTATION AND OVERVIEW IN DEVELOPING, AND MAINTAINING PARAPROFESSIONAL TRAINING PROGRAMS. INCLUDED ARE CONCEPTS THAT UNDERLIE THE TRAINING AND SUPERVISION OF DISADVANTAGED PEOPLE AS NEW CAREERISTS IN REHABILITATION, INCLUDING ENTRY LEVEL AND UPGRADING POSITIONS, AS WELL AS MAJOR ISSUES IN THE CAREER DEVELOPMENT AND TRAINING OF TRAINERS AND SUPERVISORS.
