A COOPERATIVE EFFORT TO INTRODUCE POLICE OFFICERS TO THE LATEST CONCEPTS IN LAW ENFORCEMENT AND MANAGERIAL TECHNIQUES THROUGH METHODS OF ADULT EDUCATION.
Abstract
THE SCHOOL IS A HIGH LEVEL STAFF COLLEGE SERVING THE NEEDS OF OFFICERS HAVING THE HIGHEST RANK DOWN TO SERGEANT. THE POLICE COMPACT SET UP A CONFERENCE AS A LEGAL ENTITY AND MADE POSSIBLE A REGIONAL INTELLIGENCE SYSTEM, OTHER KINDS OF COOPERATIVE PROGRAMS AND A PERMANENT SECRETARIAT FINANCED BY THE STATES. FOUR 4 WEEK SESSIONS HAVE BEEN HELD EACH SESSION PROVIDING APPROXIMATELY 120 HOURS OF CLASSROOM PARTICIPATION.
