THE MAIN PROJECT PURPOSE WAS TO TEST AND EVALUATE THE FEASIBILITY AND ECONOMICS OF MOBILE TRAINING FACILITIES.
Abstract
FURTHER AIMS INCLUDE; DEMONSTRATION OF THE POTENTIAL OF STANDARDIZING INSTRUCTIONS AND CURRICULUM ON A STATE-WIDE BASIS; SURVEYING AND EVALUATING THE POTENTIAL INHERENT IN PROGRAMMED LEARNING FOR POLICE TRAINEES, DEVELOPMENT AND EXTENDING THE RANGE OF AUDIO-VISUAL TRAINING MATERIALS FOR POLICE SERVICES BY ENCOURAGING THE DISCERNING AND INTENSIVE USAGE OF THIS EQUIPMENT BY INSTRUCTORS, EVALUATION OF MACHINE TESTING OF LEARNING, AND COMPREHENSION RATE OF TRAINEES IN CLASSROOM SITUATIONS. THE RESULTS OF TESTING SHOULD BE INCORPORATED INTO THE GUIDELINES FOR LESSON PLANS, DETAILING TIME ALLOCATION FOR SUBJECT MATERIAL AND CONTINUING CURRICULUM DEVELOPMENT, AND EMPIRICAL TESTING AND DOCUMENTATION OF THE LEARNING IMPACT RESULTING FROM A COHESIVE AND INTEGRATED TRAINING SYSTEM.
