The new law includes a provision for administrative suspension of a driver's license for 6 months if the blood alcohol concentration is found to be 0.1 percent or more and for prohibiting any level of blood alcohol in a person under age 19. In addition, the new law sets a standard of 0.08 percent blood alcohol concentration for persons with two or more convictions, suspensions, or revocations related to drunk driving within a 5-year period.
