FINDINGS AND RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE COMMITTEE ON CRIME PREVENTION AND CONTROL TO URBAN COMMUNITIES FOR THE PREVENTION AND CONTROL OF STREET CRIME.
Abstract
THE COMMITTEE WAS CREATED BY THE ABA FOR THE PURPOSE OF STUDYING THE PROBLEMS OF CRIME AND SECURING ACTION FOR ITS PREVENTION AND CONTROL. THE CORRELATION BETWEEN CRIME AND HEROIN AND THE FAILURE OF THE NATION'S ADDICTION CONTROL POLICIES ARE OF SPECIAL INTEREST, AS WELL AS THE SLOW MOTION OF JUSTICE IN THE NATION'S CRIMINAL COURTS. THE RECOMMENDATIONS REFLECT AN ATTEMPT TO IMPROVE URBAN CRIMINAL JUSTICE ADMINISTRATION.
