There wil be three major and several minor changes in 1992 model year police vehicles.
Abstract
The major changes include a Chevrolet Special Service Lumina, a Ford Crown Victoria Police Special, and a Chrysler Jeep Cherokee Police Special. Among the minor changes are a "reskinning" of Ford's Taurus Police Special and a more powerful Chevrolet Caprice 5.7L V8. This article describes most of the available vehicles: the Ford Crown Victoria, Taurus, Mustang, Econoline/Club Wagon, and Explorer; the Chevrolet Caprice, Lumina Special Service Sedan, Camaro Special Service, Suburban, Sportvan/Chevyvan, S-10 Blazer, and C/K pickups; the Chrysler Jeep Cherokee Police Package, Dodge Dakota Pickup, and Dodge Ram pickup truck; and the Range Rover. The vehicle descriptions cover body style, acceleration, tires, brakes, transmission, and other relevant features.
