Abstract
ALTHOUGH NO MINIMUM HEIGHT REQUIREMENT IS PRESCRIBED, THE HEIGHT OF A CANDIDATE SHOULD BE PROPORTIONATE TO HIS WEIGHT. OBESITY AND SCRAWNINESS ARE GROUNDS FOR REJECTION. URINALYSIS, A SEROLOGIC TEST, A CHEST X-RAY AND AN ELECTROCARDIOGRAPH EXAMINATION ARE PRESCRIBED. THE PHYSICAL TESTS ARE DESIGNED TO MEASURE AGILITY, STRENGTH, SPEED, AND ENDURANCE. THE MINIMUM REQUIREMENT IS A SCORE IN THE THIRTY-FIRST PERCENTILE OF A GROUP OF TWELFTH GRADE STUDENTS WHO TOOK THE SAME TEST.
