Annotation
This film updates the original film, Nobody's Victim, by adding the most recent research information on new methods for dealing with the possibility of physical assault.
Abstract
The film describes the psychology of the rapist and shows how the alert, assertive women can use this knowledge to gain a psychological advantage. Rather than denying the possibility of violence, the self-confident woman can learn to be prepared so that potentially dangerous situations can be diverted or defused. Topics covered in the film include purse snatching, car problems, hitchhiking, home burglary, obscene phone calls, street confrontations, rape by an acquaintance, and reporting rape. The film is intended for junior high through adult audiences. See NCJ 16765.
