This report highlights the 1982 activities of the North Dakota judicial system, providing statistical information reporting on other developments on the State's civil, criminal, and juvenile courts (supreme, district, and municipal) and their caseloads.
Abstract
An opening paper by a municipal judge argues for the elimination of the municipal court system in the State and its absorption into the unified State system. Attention is given to the activities of the county court system, administration of the judicial system, the Office of the State Court Administrator, advisory committees of the supreme court, and the North Dakota Legal Counsel for Indigents Commission. Attention is also given to the nature and activities of the State Bar Board, the Disciplinary Board for the Supreme Court, the Judicial Qualifications Commission, and the Judicial Council.
