Abstract
NORTHORPE HALL MAINTAINS A RADICALLY DIFFERENT APPROACH TO THE PROBLEM OF JUVENILE DELINQUENCY. ITS OVERALL AIM BEING THAT OF ENABLING BOYS TO LIVE WELL ADJUSTED AND LAW ABIDING LIVES IN THEIR OWN FAMILIES. TO ACHIEVE THIS, THE NORTHORPE HALL TRUST OPERATES AN INTENSIVE FAMILY CASEWORK SERVICE WITHIN THE BOY'S HOME AND INVITES BOYS FOR REGULAR WEEKENDS, IN GROUPS TO NORTHORPE HALL. ALL THAT IS POSSIBLE IS DONE TO STRENGTHEN ANY BENEFICIAL TIES THAT A BOY MAY HAVE WITHIN HIS HOME AND ENVIRONMENT. (AUTHOR ABSTRACT)
