THIS REPORT DESCRIBES THE IMPLEMENTATION OF A TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER PROJECT - THE NORTHWEST OHIO REGIONAL INFORMATION SYSTEM WAS THE RECIPIENT OF SOFTWARE FROM THE STATE POLICE AND THE CINCINNATI AREA INFORMATION SYSTEMS.
Abstract
IMPLEMENTATION PROCEDURES AND MODIFICATIONS ARE DESCRIBED. THE OHIO STATE HIGHWAY PATROL LEADS INFORMATION SYSTEM WAS SELECTED AS A DONOR FOR THE CODE TRANSFER OF A NAME/NUMBER INDEX AND A WARRANT CONTROL SYSTEM. THE CINCINNATI COUNTY LAW ENFORCEMENT APPLIED REGIONALLY (CLEAR) SYSTEM WAS SELECTED AS DONOR FOR THE DESIGN OF THE SUBJECT-IN-PROCESS APPLICATION MODULES WHICH WOULD TRACK AN OFFENDER FROM ARREST THROUGH FINAL COURT DISPOSITION. THE PROBLEMS THAT DEVELOPED IN THIS TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER ARE ELUCIDATED FOR THE BENEFIT OF FUTURE TRANSFERS. APPENDIXES CONTAIN WORK PLANS AND SCHEDULES.
