STATISTICAL STUDY OF A GROUP OF 616 PROPERTY OFFENDERS, 115 OFFENDERS AGAINST PERSONS, AND 201 PERSONS GUILTY OF BOTH PROPERTY OFFENSES AND OFFENSES AGAINST PERSONS IN A CITY IN THE NETHERLANDS BETWEEN 1950 AND 1955.
Abstract
IT WAS CONCLUDED THAT PROPERTY OFFENSES ARE MORE LIKELY TO BE COMMITTED BY JUVENILES THAN OFFENSES AGAINST PERSONS, THAT OFFENDERS AGAINST PERSONS COME FROM HIGHER SOCIAL LEVELS THAN PROPERTY OFFENDERS, AND THAT OFFENDERS AGAINST PERSONS COMMIT FEWER OFFENSES, AS INDIVIDUALS, THAN PROPERTY OFFENDERS. APPENDIXES PROVIDE PERTINENT STATISTICS REGARDING THE INDIVIDUALS INCLUDED IN THE STUDY. --IN DUTCH
