This directory provides current information on Ohio sex offender treatment programs for juveniles.

Abstract

While there are now 40 specialized treatment programs in the State for adolescent sexual offenders, these programs can accommodate only 650 out of an estimated 3,000-3,500 offenders. The treatment programs listed here emphasize the victim as the primary client and community protection as the primary goal. Each entry includes agency name and address, sex offender program, population served, other admissions criteria, service capacity and referral sources, service area, and treatment program description. The directory also lists Ohio Department of Youth Services programming for adolescent sexual offenders, other Ohio programs that accept adolescent sexual offender referrals, and treatment program coalitions, as well as a list of national resources.
