THIS THIRD REPORT ISSUED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF COURT ADMINISTRATION DESCRIBES THE OKLAHOMA CITY MUNICIPAL COURT SYSTEM'S WORKLOAD AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS FOR FISCAL YEAR 1978 TO 1979.
Abstract
THE MUNICIPAL COURT SYSTEM IS DIVIDED INTO FOUR DIVISIONS: ADMINISTRATION, JUDICIAL, PROBATION AND COURT OPERATIONS. THE REPORT CONTAINS A DEPARTMENTAL SUMMARY WHICH GIVES DEPARTMENTAL GOALS, A SUMMARY OF THE DEPARTMENTAL PROGRAM, AND RECOMMENDED PROGRAM CHANGES. AN ORGANIZATIONAL CHART ILLUSTRATES THE DEPARTMENTAL ACTIVITIES AS A WHOLE. A 10-YEAR SUMMARY OF THE COURT ADMINISTRATION DEPARTMENT IS ALSO PRESENTED IN TABULAR FORM. GOALS AND BUDGETED FUNDS ARE STATED, PROGRAMS DESCRIBED, MAJOR ACCOMPLISHMENTS NOTED, AND PROGRAM MEASURES OF EFFICIENCY AND EFFECTIVENESS CITED FOR EACH OF THE DIVISIONS. THE COURT OPERATIONS DIVISION IS BROKEN DOWN INTO SECTIONS ON TRAFFIC AND PARKING, CRIMINAL COURT, AND COURT OF RECORD-JURY. ACTIVITIES ARE NOTED ALONG WITH BUDGET AND PROGRAM DESCRIPTIONS OF THESE UNITS. FILLINGS AND DISPOSITIONS OF MAJOR OFFENSE ARE DESCRIBED. COURT ARRAIGNMENTS AND TRIAL ACTIVITIES ARE SUMMARIZED.
