Abstract
THE FIRST SECTION OF THE RESOURCE MANUAL COVERS THE ORGANIZATION OF THE OREGON CORRECTIONS DIVISION AND THE AUTHORITY FOR ITS EXISTENCE, FUNDING FOR TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT, THE RESPONSIBILITY FOR TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS AND SERVICES, RECIPIENTS OF PROGRAMS AND SERVICES, FUNCTIONS OF THE TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT SECTION OF THE DIVISION (TRAINING NEEDS ASSESSMENT, TRAINING STANDARDS AND PLANS, THE MONITORING AND EVALUATION OF TRAINING, MANAGEMENT AND MANPOWER DEVELOPMENT, PUBLIC INFORMATION AND EDUCATION, TASK FORCES AND COMMITTEES, AND CONSULTATION AND TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE), AND COLLABORATING AGENCIES IN SERVICE DELIVERY.
