Abstract
CHAPTER 740 OF THE OREGON LAWS, WHICH RELATES TO LOCAL AND REGIONAL CORRECTIONAL FACILITIES, IS CITED IN ITS ENTIRETY, ALONG WITH THE POWERS, DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE OREGON STATE CORRECTIONS DIVISION ADMINISTRATOR. IN ADDITION, A SPECIAL CHAPTER ON THE ADMINISTRATION, OPERATION, SERVICES, SANITATION, AND CONSTRUCTION OF LOCKUPS IS ALSO INCLUDED. FOR THE PURPOSES OF THIS REPORT, A 'LOCKUP' MEANS A FACILITY FOR THE TEMPORARY DETENTION OF ARRESTED PERSONS OR INMATES.
