REPORT GIVES AIDS FOR HELPING TO MAXIMIZE THE EFFICIENCY OF THE STATE COURT ADMINISTRATOR'S OFFICE.
Abstract
THE PURPOSE OF THE PROJECT WAS TO REVIEW THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE ADMINISTRATOR AND THE APPELLATE COURTS, AND TO REASSESS THE ASSIGNMENTS OF THE STAFF, SPACE ALLOCATIONS, AND PROCESSING OF THE APPELLATE FILINGS. SEVERAL RECOMMENDATIONS WERE PUT FORWARD. THESE INCLUDED CREATING A POSITION OF DEPUTY STATE COURT ADMINISTRATOR, STAFF REORGANIZATION, UTILIZATION OF A COMPUTER, AND REORGANIZING THE FILING SYSTEM. THE REPORT ALSO OFFERED PROPOSALS ON SPACE UTILIZATION, FINANCING, PERSONNEL, AND EQUIPMENT LOCATION. INTEROFFICE COMMUNICATION SHOULD BE IMPROVED, AND THERE SHOULD BE CLOSER CONSULTATIONS AMONG THE STAFF...BS
