Abstract
Workshop overviews include workshops addressing parental involvement as an important component of a comprehensive gang prevention strategy; gang prevention services in public housing developments; school-based gang prevention services; public service campaigns for youth gang and drug prevention programs; building community strategies; youth empowerment; inter-ethnic gangs; and strategies for working with older adolescents. Also included are speaker biographies, listings of addresses, telephone, and fax numbers of conference participants, addresses and telephone numbers of youth workgroup participants, representatives of the Department of Health and Human Services, Cosmos Corporation staff, Development Services Group, Inc. staff, and exhibitors.
