TEN QUESTIONS FOR PRORAM EVALUATORS ARE DISCUSSED WHICH WERE DEVISED TO ACCENTUATE SPECIFIC TECHNIQUES OF EVALUATION DESIGN AND PLANNING.
Abstract
THE QUESTIONS INVOLVE THE FOLLOWING: THE DEFINITION OF PROGRAM EVALUATION; THE GOALS OF THE PROGRAM; THE AUDIENCE FOR WHOM THE EVALUATION IS PREPARED; THE TYPE OF EVALUATION (PROCESS OR RESULTS); THE KIND OF EVALUATORS (STAFF, INHOUSE EVALUATORS, OUTSIDE EVALUATORS); AND METHODS OF MEASUREMENT. OTHER QUESTIONS ADDRESS THE ARRANGEMENTS THAT NEED TO BE MADE TO TAKE THE MEASUREMENTS; METHODS OF DATA ANALYSIS; REPORTING OF RESULTS; AND THE STEPS THAT SHOULD BE TAKEN TO EVALUATE THE EVALUATION.
