Abstract
The first article, "Texting for Help," describes the work of the Crisis Call Center (CCC), a 24-hour texting hotline located in Reno, NV. Through the hotline, individuals can contact the CCC for crises related to problems such as suicide, domestic violence, bullying, sexual violence, child abuse/neglect, and depression. The second article, "Game Changers That are Making Victims' Rights in the Military More Meaningful," details efforts by the Air Force to expand its response to sexual assault victims. The third article, "Spotlight on California: Research Partnerships and Lessons Learned," describes the results of a statewide needs assessment of the role of criminal justice system-based victim service programs in responding to violence against women. The fourth article, "Developing Resiliency and Addressing Vicarious Trauma in Your Organization," examines the problem of work-related stress that affects providers working with victims of trauma. A separate article highlights one individuals experience with the problem of elder abuse.
