THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN DEVIANT FOR CRIMINAL BEHAVIOUR ON THE ONE HAND AND FAMILY DISORGANIZATION ON THE OTHER IS ONLY ONE PART OF THE PROBLEM.
Abstract
THE AUTHOR DEVELOPS THE TERM OF OVERORGANIZATION OF THE FAMILY AND TRIES TO SHOW THAT OVERORGANIZATION HAS CONSEQUENCES WHICH ARE VERY IMPORTANT IN THE CAUSATION OF DEVIANT BEHAVIOUR. THIS CALLS FOR MORE RESEARCH INTO THESE FAMILY CONSTELLATIONS AND ESPECIALLY INTO THE RELATIONS OF OVERPROTECTION (E.G., MATERNAL OVERPROTECTION) IN ORDER TO GET A DEEPER UNDERSTANDING OF SOME DETERMINANTS OF DEVIANT BEHAVIOUR WHICH HAVE BEEN NEGLECTED SO FAR.
