House hearings are held to review the progress made by a number of restitution projects funded by the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention in 1979.
Abstract
An evaluation of the 41 restitution projects set up in 26 States, Puerto Rico, and the District of Columbia is presented along with comments by juvenile justice officials. A project manager in Madison, Wisc., describes the program as implemented at the State and local level, and a youth panel (consisting of young people who have particpated in the program both in the District of Columbia and in Wisconsin) describes its impact on their lives. Prepared statements, letters, and other supplemental materials are included.
