This manual contains the policies and procedures followed by the Oklahoma Pardon and Parole Board.
Abstract
The first procedure pertains to the establishment, maintenance, and distribution of this manual. Procedures related to the duties and responsibilities of the Pardon and Parole Board are discussed in the guidelines for conducting meetings and recording minutes. Twelve procedures related to the establishment of docketing criteria for consideration of paroles, pre-parole conditional supervision, sentence commutations, leaves of absence, and pardons are included in the manual. The distribution of parole fact sheets and the preparation of parole certificates and parole revocation certificates are two procedures comprising the policy of establishing standard and special conditions of parole. Guidelines for investigative reports and documentation are carried out through the distribution of investigative caseloads, the interviewing process, and consolidation and auditing procedures. The manual also covers guidelines for jacket reviews and personal appearances, special reviews, and administrative reviews; calculation of 15/12 and 15/24 dates; and records maintenance and information releases.
