THOUGH STILL IN PLANNING STAGES, INITIAL CONSORTIUM PROJECTS ARE (1) A SEMINAR SERIES FOR POLICE SUPERVISORY OFFICERS TO DEVELOP MANAGEMENT SKILLS NEEDED TO EFFECT CHANGE IN A FAST-CHANGING SOCIETY, AND (2) DESIGN OF A MANAGEMENT TRAINING PROGRAM TO AID POLICE SERGEANTS IN THEIR TRANSITION FROM SUBORDINATE TO SUPERVISOR.
