HIGHLIGHTS OF THE YEAR INCLUDED THE FOLLOWING: COMMISSIONING OF JUDICIAL PLANNING COMMITTEE TO ESTABLISH PRIORITIES FOR IMPROVING THE UNIFIED JUDICIAL SYSTEM; PARTICIPATION BY 95 PERCENT OF THE COMMONWEALTH'S TRIAL JUDGES IN REFRESHER COURSES OFFERED BY THE PENNSYLVANIA COLLEGE OF THE JUDICIARY; CONCLUSION OF A STUDY OF CONSTABLES IN PENNSYLVANIA; PUBLICATION OF THE COMMONWEALTH'S FIRST JUDICIARY NEWSLETTER; AND FINALIZATION OF A PROJECT FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF PATTERN JURY INSTRUCTIONS.
