THESE TESTS ARE DESIGNED TO EVALUATE THE MOTION DETECTORS IN TERMS OF THEIR FALSE ALARM STIMULI REJECTION CAPABILITY, DETECTION ABILITY, AND ENVIRONMENTAL VULNERABILITY.
Abstract
THIS PAPER DISCUSSES THE BASIC PHILOSOPHY USED TO ESTABLISH THE PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS AND TEST CRITERIA FOR THE ULTRASONIC AND MICROWAVE MOTION DETECTORS. THESE PARAMETERS ARE DISCUSSED WHILE DESCRIBING THE OBJECTIVES AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS OF THE PROGRAM. THEREFORE, THE PAPER BEGINS BY BRIEFLY DESCRIBING THE RESULTS OF THE INFORMATION SURVEY AND THE AGGREGATION AND SUBSUMMATION OF THE STIMULI SPECTRA. EACH TEST IN THE STANDARDS IS DESCRIBED IN TERMS OF ITS PURPOSE AND BASIC SPECIFICATIONS. THE PAPER IS CONCLUDED BY SUMMARIZING THE PERFORMANCE OF THE DETECTOR'S SUBJECTED TO THE TESTS.
