Schools in this country have a need to modify their approach in preparing graduates for the increasingly technological work place.
Abstract
Education for the college bound student is adequate and appropriate; however, the curricula for the greater percentage of the school population is not appropriate for their possible vocational future. This is particularly true of individuals who are incarcerated. Educational programs which will make it possible for this group to be employed and trained need to be more widely incorporated into the course requirements. This article presents a detailed description of such a program in a correctional environment. 4 references. (Author abstract)
