EXAMINES METHODOLOGICAL CONSIDERATIONS IN THE USE OF DELPHI FORMATS WHICH INVOLVES GATHERING DATA FROM A GROUP TO GET A CONCENSUS.
Abstract
IN TWO DELPHI ROUNDS OF QUESTIONING, A GROUP OF VOLUNTEERS WERE ASKED TO COMPLETE A QUESTIONNAIRE OF ITEMS RELATING TO DRUG USE, PREVENTION, AND TREATMENT. THE QUESTIONNAIRE CONSISTED OF TWO PARTS DEALING WITH DESCRIPTIVE ITEMS, AND ONE PART WHICH REQUIRED AN EVALUATION OF THE FEASIBILITY AND DESIRABILITY OF VARIOUS 'POLICY OPTIONS.'
