SPECIAL ATTENTION SHOULD BE GIVEN TO THE WAY POLICE HANDLE YOUNG PEOPLE FOR, DESPITE THE FACT THAT THEY ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR A GOOD DEAL OF CRIME, THEY ARE IN A VERY IMPRESSIONABLE PERIOD.
Abstract
THE OUTLOOKS OF YOUNG PEOPLE ARE CONSTANTLY CHANGING DUE TO THE EFFECTS OF EDUCATION, THEIR DESIRE TO ASSERT THEIR INDIVIDUALITY AND THE FACT THAT THEY REACH PHYSICAL MAUTRITY EARLIER THAN PAST GENERATIONS. THEY ARE LIKELY TO REACT TO HOSTILE ATTITUDES FROM POLICE WITH HOSTILITY THAT COULD LAST A LIFETIME. SPECIAL TREATMENT IS ALSO NECESSARY FOR IMMIGRANT CHILDREN, ESPECIALLY BLACKS, WHO ARE APT TO BE SUPER-SENSITIVE TO INJUSTICE AS A RESULT OF PRIOR PRIVATION AND HOSTILITY.
